Flowers and Tributes

The use of artificial or silk flowers is discouraged.  These items generally end up being wind blown debris, marring the beauty of the cemetery. If they do remain on the grave, they generally appear damaged and faded in a short time.

Rather than spending money on these faux flowers or other grave tributes, we encourage family and friends to make memorial donations to Trinity Episcopal Cemetery in memory of their loved ones.  Alternately, evergreen branches may be placed on the grave marker, such as pine, boxwood, holly, or cedar.  These evergreen branches are symbols of immortality because they are "ever" green, even in winter.  They are free and biodegradable, making them both pocket friendly and environmentally friendly.
