We believe that showing care to members of our parish and to our community is part of Christ's call to "love our neighbor as ourself." The Pastoral Care Ministry oversees both "outreach" and "inreach". Outreach is accomplished through our community connections with Eagle's Wings and Ruth's House. Inreach is accomplished by visits, sending cards, sharing Altar flowers, and other communications. By such ways, we hope and pray to be the Body of Christ in the world.
Pastoral Care Team Captains:
Mary Ann St. John, Linda Lewis, Floyd Sutton, Kathye Bennett-Chambliss, Gray Albritton, and Laura Elks.
Pastoral Care Teams serve once every six weeks. They are encouraged to send cards, make phone calls, send texts, and other communications to be a source of encouragement and hope. All team members are asked to assist at funerals with food, set-up for visitations, or other family needs.
